The RK-87 is a true K67/K87 style condenser capsule: dual backplates, K67 drilling pattern. We match them to within 0.5dB in sensitivity, both front to back and capsule to capsule, and to within about 1.5dB in frequency response, 50ā15,000Hz.
The backplates are insulated. The RK-87 can be wired as either a 3-wire or 4-wire capsule.
Each pair includes:
- Two capsules
- Two "supersaddles"
- Two short mounting posts
- Termination wires (2 per capsule)
- Mounting screws
